Windows Seven get 6 stars... out of 5!
Hello Folks. I'm proud to say that I've installed Microsoft Windows Seven 64 bit (of friggin' course!) on my HP laptop, that's right, I'M A PC!!!.
Let me start this article by saying that this system is worth the long waiting, because it has everything I've ever wanted; top speed on boot, nice and enhanced visual effects and desktop appearance, top speed also on apps running on it, and even more crap I'm forgetting right now.
My desktop:
As you can see my DT has many crap going on, well... not to much. For example, I've activated the Aero theme and I've added some cool gadgets on my DT just to be a show-off. I bet you're thinking that it must take a lot of memmory from your PC, well, it closely does, in my case it takes 1gb and it runs smoothly. But I don't care because I have 4gb... XD!
My wrath against some dumb people
I don't understand why in god's name some people say that this is a bunch of crap. Let just say that I'm a Ubuntu active user and I respect very much OSX, but I think that deep down in the hearts of this people just exist jealousy.
I say this because this Microsoft's Seven OS is the s**t, they changed their way of developming OS's with this final release it. I don't see where these dudes want to get saying that crap about Seven, and they even say that XP is no match to other OS's. Well, let me just ask you something: ¿why for f**k sake does many people use it?... and don't tell me because it's friggin' famous. It's because it is friggin' stable, easy to use and a fast OS too.
As one of my friends say: "Gates is not so bad, once you get to know him...".
It's al about smoothness. Don't you see it Torvalds?...
Don't you just see??... the so-friggin-smooth enhancement?. This is one of the main things that Linux doesn't count with, a chewy interface and the "next next next" bullcrap that Microsoft and OSX has.
I know that y'all are comming to me saying that the "next next next" won't come with it because Linux it's for advanced user. All I can say to you all as a Linux user is that they have to change that advance users crap for something else, because if they continue like this it won't be nothing but a ship that never sailed firmly. Even OSX is chewy.
Check this video:
Broken promises my ass!.
So damn happy!...

5 years of Ubuntu and the Linux Plumbers conference
When I heard of these 2 things I just thought: "PERFECTION!..." I think you know why.
Three days ago was one of the days that we commemorate a remarcable discover among Unix users, the Gnome desktop enviroment, and the Five years of Ubuntu OS.
LPC
On the other hand, we have the LPC (Linux Plumbers Conference) which is the event where many ADVANCED linux users like Linus Torvalds, Keith Packard (de X.org, on the pic), Mark Shuttleworth (Canonical/Ubuntu), Kristian Høgsberg (Wayland), Matthew Garret (Red Hat) among others (pretty advanced huhh?...) where discussing about the future of linux kernel.
The material of this conference is wide open, for example, they deal with several subjects like security, developping, network, devices, past, present, future.
Ubuntu
I'm not gonna talk too much of this OS because you know what I'm gonna say about it: IT ROCKS!. And also beacuse I've talked a lot about it.
Running Ubuntu 4.04:
Running ubuntu 9.04
It's great to have with us one of the most advanced OS's that computers have to offer to us nowadays. It's great to have many advanced details like security, great speed and good looking all in one piece of Operating System that shows us how to get things done efficiently, beacuse there ar many unix-based distros out there but none of them compared to this, of course, if you want to have a good desktop experience.
There's also the server edition which I haven't tried out yet but I'm sure that it handles very nice like the desktop edition too.
To conclude this, I recommend that you download Ubuntu 9.04; many differences with other distros and you will marvel at its appearance.

Windows Seven. T-2 Days till launch
We're just within 2 days of Windows seven launch. People like myself are waiting for this OS to come out just to wipe out Vista from our PC's and Laptops.
Now I have to say, the RC1 that came out like 7 months ago was great. It had minor problems like a not-so-well hibernation, some problems with some software like DW, but everything else was running perfectly.
I'm so happy because this is like XP but more fancy and better performance, especially because of the great things that they have added to this OS like the new and improved paint that looks like a professional graphic editor. Friggin' cool!!.
They corrected another flaw that Vista had, and it was the HDMI conectivity. For example, let say that I connected my laptop to my LCD TV. When I wanted to unplug my Laptop the Vista Bas-turd sometimes stayed without the audio, then I had to plug again and then unplug till the audio recovered. So they took care of that among MANY MANY errors of Beast-a. It looks almost like the OS was done flawlesly.
Nevertheless, we have to be carefull because "with great power, comes a great AMOUNT OF ERRORS...", and it wasn't Ben Parker who said that, it's me, beacuse you know how hard it is for ourselves to install the first version of a certain program, no matter if it is an OS o some piece of program we found on the net. See ya...

Going online nowadays (PART 3, what I forgot...)
When I was talking about fighting games, I forgot to talk about one of many greatest fighting games of all time... STREET FIGHTER!, who dumb am I for not talking about it?... Gotta thank my good ol' friend Ty for reminding me of this.
Well, let's not get carried away; the thing is that this is another good game that has the online gaming mode which I said last time, has got to suck ass real hard!. I mean, kicking long distance butts with Ryu, oh please...
-- Date 19/10/2009

Going online nowadays (PART 2)
The ones that you can't play
I don't know if you people agree with me when I say that fighting games are no good to play online. This is the part where I wanted to get.
Go back a few years, to 1995 to be specific. The Killer Instinct game release. You were imaginating yourself playing one of the most excellent fighting games that Nintendo had to offer at that time. Now when you wanted to play with your friends and kick their butts, you would do that with them on your side, not alone in your house and the other player in his.
It's so riddiculous to think of a fighting game that you can play online, because you want to see the other guy's face while you're kicking his ass!... so good to watch that, beautifull memmories...
Let's take another game of the fighting genre; Mortal FRIGGIN' Kombat. The final release was in 1992 for SNES, but I saw it in 1994, and it was THE BEST fighting game that I have seen in my life. You would gather your friends around you looking at Midway's miracle, and the ass kickin' would start in a matter of seconds. Now let's say that you can play MK3 online... that would suck balls!. Who would you watch when you were colleting souls from anybody?... or when you slash somebody in 2 pieces?... no one!.
All of this article, because I've played KOF 12.
I've been playing this game for a long time, since 96 to be exact. And I saw the new one on XBOX 360, and it has some things that do not help the game to be a good one. There's no big amount of roosters, there's only like 20 when in past versions you would see like hundreds of 'em (not mentioning the amount on the MUGENS). There's the online playing, but I've heard in many sites that it has serious lag issues. But let me say that the fighting system is excelent, especially for the moves, and graphics of the characters.
But putting this online feature in these games, is just going to make the people enjoy their games alone in their houses, and that's soooooo wroooong people.
Let me wrap this article by saying that online gaming is NOT ALWAYS the key that leads a game to be a good one. You always have to think as a kid if you would like your games to be enjoyed in the confort of your own house, or with all your friends watching you.
SEE YA!...

Going online nowadays (PART 1)
In this days you'll probably hear some people like: "Dude, I kicked that dude's ass online!!", which is kinda cool but not always so cool as we think it is.
The ones that you can play
First person shooters are the top choice in games of some people, not for me though, but I think it's a good genre to play with. Take for example Counter Strike (no matter the version).
This games kicks some serious butts. Came from our beloved Half Life game, and as you can experience, this game is fun to play online not because the killing or something else, but because you can't have too many people in your house playing this (imagine 30 dudes in one place!). Besides, it's practically the only way that you can play this game, because there's the BOTS mode which is kinda booooring.
To me, an FPS game is good to play in the confort of your house, because theres not too much going. Not that is a booring genre online, but because it doesn't have the all-time pressure going like a fighting game.
The other genre that I like to play the most of the time is the cars genre. Take for example, Flatout, smashing cars, throwing people out of the front window and getting your car totaly wrecked by the end of the race.
This genre is okay to play it online but it's also good playing the 2 players mode. You would say: "you got my dude out of my car with that hit you gave me dude...", and you can also watch their faces while they say that... cool stuff. But anyways, for me, it's ratherly okay to play this kind of games in your PC alone.
Stay tunned for part 2

New Half Life mod: Sounds with voices
There's two different type of things: When you play a game and it's so good that you won't be able to forget it, and the other is that When you play a game and it's so good that you won't be able to forget it and you have enough spare time to do some voice over sounds for the game!... friggin' crazy...
Now I know lots of dudes out there are consagrated fans of the one and only game that marked our lives. I mean this game is like when I played Doom 1 and 2 for the first time: there's me before HL and after HL. But we have come too far with this mod for god sake!...

18 years of Linux
4 years ago, I heard a lot of friends of mine talking about servers and many programs on Microsoft Windows and how stable were them on this platform. Then we got to the games topic, and how can Windows can manage to get the juice out of the games... certainly Vista gets the juice out of everything, but only in a bad way, obviously...
Then a good friend of mine, told us: "crap, you fools with your MS OS's and stuff like it. Be diferent!". Then I asked him about that "diference"... then he told me about Ubuntu. A single unix-based operating system that knows how to improve your experience with your PC.
Right now I'm dealing with Ubuntu 9.04 which is their last release, and a great one too.
Servers
But for me, it ain't just the desktop subject only, let's go to servers, services and stuff like it. Now this is a controversial topic to talk about, because there are (for me) 2 Linux OS that leave the mark on the well distribution of a server resources. For example, let's take the almighty Red Hat which has become a standar of servers.
I don't mean to say that this is the s**t of Linux OS's, but it's definitely the one that most of the companies use. Not to mention mini business of common users. It has a cost, which means that it's not free as we all wanted to, but it's a good OS and it's worth a couple of bucks.
But just so you all know, there's a FREE alternative of this OS which is the CentOS.
This one gives you the same features of Red Hat but FREE!. Now I know that you all are asking "what's the diference then?"... well basically is the support topic. When you own a Red Hat OS you will be getting support wherever you are. The diferent thing happens with CentOS which it's support comes from you looking at the internet or asking other users, so as you see it has a diference among others.
Other stuff...
there's another things that really get the peoples guts on road, like desktop enviroments. This is quite a "thing" among users. for example, if you want to have efficiency and usabitily you gotta get GNOME, fast enough and easy yo use. But if you want to go elegant and classy then there's the KDE enviroment.
Let's wrap it up!
In conclusion, if you want an OS that's easy yo use and fast, get some of the Linux OS. There's not only Ubuntu an kUbuntu; there are others like Linux mint, Knoppix, Mandriva and so on and so on. Here's a video which demonstrates quite clearly what linux is...

Thinking about a site change
Well folks, how are you today??... fine I hope. This salute is just for educational purposes.
Here's the thing: I've been thinking a lot lately about a physic change of the site, and you know why?, because I can't have a free database service in this hosting. But that's why I'm thinking about the site change.
A very dear friend of mine, Elias "Van Nistelrooy" Orozco has manage to convince me that wordpress-based sites are cool and allows you to put comentaries on each thread of the blog, which is kinda cool because now you can read my threads and say anything you friggin' want.
But let's not get carried away, because the thing with this site is that I can do anything I want with it, I mean I can BUILD my own site, that's strike one for wordpress-based sites, so that's why I'm saying that I have to think about it. That's all for today, please if you want to say something about the site or anything, e-mail me at pabcubus@gmail.com. See ya...

Jackie even beats computer viruses
I have to say that I friggin' luv' Jackie Chan movies, because they're so damn cool. I mean, Jackie could go 60 years old and he still could kick the asses of 50 men...
One of other things that I love, is Kaspersky Internet Security (KIS). A super safe and fast computer antivirus that keeps your computer clean from any menace around the net.
But, what if we could have 'em both in the same comercial spot?... check it out!

Car Theft Games 4 us (Part 3)
What have we been talking about these couple of days about this aticle?... scenarios, characters, cars, deals, smugglers, bad people, gunfighting... but we forgot about the most important feature of these games... THE FUN FACTOR.
FUN FACTOR means, that whatever that you're about to do on the CTG has to cause you fun doing it. For example, you will find a little bit weird the trucker missions on every town in San Andreas, but once you play you'll never leave it. Or take the example on Driver, that you have to make diferent kind of jobs to stand out with some money.
Another game that comes in my mind is Saints Row on the 360, best console ever for me. The game is about a guy who's nobody in the city of Stillwater. But for some reason you'll end up being an important member of the 3rd Street Saints gang.
Saints Row
The thing about this game is that it has a little bit of everything. For example, the character is a no one, that turns out to be the leader of the gang. The scenario is cool because it's a big city with many contrasts, that means you can see big skycrappers that reflects a wealthy life, or you can see the other side of town which is the humble side.
You can se many things and there are many missions to be done. There are missions where you carry a slut to many places, and many important people gets into your car to get laid with her, but you have to watch out for the press, so you have to nail them. Those are everyday missions in SR.
All the features gotta get together
To close this article, we have to say that it's dificult to have a great CTG because of all the things that you have to carry in your mind. For instance, if you have an excelent scenario then the main character will be in second place in the game, but we don't want that do we?... but, again, the most important thing about this style of games is the FUN FACTOR, that means that you're actually having a good time, and don't lose the focus on that one if you're trying to make a game, no just only a CTG.
That's all for today and for this article, see you next time...

Car Theft Games 4 us (Part 2)
Keeping the esence of the last post, we were talking about the Characters... but another that makes a good CTG is the Scenario. Take for example, the CTG that nowadays is givin' fun to most of the gamers.
GTA: Grand theft Auto
For many years we've been seeing this games in our PS, PS2, XBOX, etc... and we've seen the great scenario that these games have. For example, take the first one; it takes place on Liberty City.
When I first played this game, I thought it was awesome. You could go out if your car, steal others, have guns, do some bad stuff, all rolled into one. JUST AWESOME!.
But I think that the best thing about this game was the city, because it had a lot of ground to cover. Lots of places, lots of streets, tons of bad guys... etc. Then it came the second part of this game.
Everything that the first game had plus 3 diferent bands to work for, and 3 diferent cities. And again... JUST AWESOME!.
I could play this game for hours, because, the radio tunes were keeping me hearin' 'em. But nevertheless, it was a cool game. For many reasons, people have been identified with this game, and it's just because it has a lot of cool features that you can get into.
But right when we thought that it was over for this saga, the launched 3 other games in the PS2 console: GTA 3, GTA VICE CITY and GTA SAN ANDREAS.
All 3 of em, were GREAT!. 5 STARS, THUMBS UP!!!... 3 diferent stories with diferent timelines between them, and cool characters. The one I like the most is SA, not because of the graphics, but because of the 3 cities with many towns that the game has. You could travel through diferent scenarios and diferent places, with many people to know on each one of the cities and towns. And again... JUST AWESOME!
Well folks, still too much to come, stay tunned for part 3

Car Theft Games 4 us (Part 1)
What is it exactly that this games have that keeps us in our TV's and PC's for a long time?... I mean, isn't so obvious?, because we have the thirst for car robbery, weaponry and drug dealing, even if we won't do that in real life.
For many years we've been seeing this games in our most beloved platforms, from the oldest one like PS to the best one there is, the 360. But, what is a Car Theft Game really??... well, here are some reasons why these games rock.
Let's say, what do you need to have a gool ol' CTG?... well nothing because when people hear about another CTG comming, they think it's the new best thing in the whole wide world, even if it sucks so bad. Nevertheless, it needs a good character, a bad macho man, or a sexy femme fatale to get started. For example, in the Driver series you have Tanner for the first 3 games, and TK for the last one, which I've been playing for a while, and let me tell ya, IT ROCKS!!!... As a Driver Series fan, I have to say it took me to the old days when I bought mi old PS.
I remember, going to the store(San Andresito's), and when I went to buy the console, it came with 5 games; I choose Tomorrow Never Dies, Crash Bandicoot, Pro Evolution Soccer and NHL 2000. But there was a last spot for another game. Then the man in charge says "There's a new game that came just today, lookie here... DRIVER: YOU ARE THE WHEELMAN". For that time, I saw that old commercial spot for the game in Cartoon Network.
Driver Saga
So I bought it. It was awesome. I also remember going long night hours playing 'till morning. The missions were cool, driving a couple of muggers that just robbed a bank, or take a cab occupied by someone that you just want to get answers from and you would have to make big car moves to get those answers... fun times I remember with this game.
Then the Driver 2 was out, and I instantaneously bought it.
Same fun, same characters, diferent scenario. This time was in Chicago, Habana, Rio and Las vegas.
The other diference is that now Tanner could go out of the car and steals other cars, this was the beggining of CTG era, and let me say that this was their idea, not RockStar's GTA Series. If Infogrames would have made another part of Driver's saga, GTA Games would have never had the fans that it has today.
Stay Tunned for Part 2!...

Do you remember that oldie game from the SNES where the TNMT go back in time and crap like that??... well, they remastered the graphics and sounds of the game and got to XBLA so many people can enjoy it.
One of the coolest features of the game is that the got the music from the old game in this one, and it sounds awesome!!!. Another feature is that now is up to 4 players, an amazing brawl going on. Check it out!!!...

Bye Billie Jean
How could I begin this article...
Today, phrases like "Billie Jean Is Not My Lover", "It Don't Matter If You're Black Or White" or "that girl is so dangerous" still standing in our minds as we all see the king of pop going dancing and singing but not with us anymore.
The king of pop Michael Jackson was found dead in his apartment because of a pulmonary-heart condition, and even trustable sources say that he was practicing auto-medication. But his legacy will continue with us, his music will pass onto future generations and our childs will remember him as an icon of music.
For some reason, people and media have gone bad saying that his legacy is passed trough many artist nowadays like Justin Timberlake or Britney Spears, well let me tell you something; first of all, Justin is a wannabe, somebody who WANTS TO BE like Mike. For Example, if you see some of his concerts you will se that he has a black hat like Mike's and even wears a black glove like him, I mean don't you think is obvious that he cannot be like the king???... And secondly, Britney Spears is a ho', who just want to hav escandals in her life. I invite all you people to see her South Park episode on last season and you'll see what I'm talking about.
For some reason footballers come and go... BUT PLEASE DO NOT THINK A FOOTBALLER IS A POP STAR!!!... ESPECIALLY IF IT IS THE KING HIMSELF!!!...
Let me just show you a little video, the greatest performance for me...
Good bye MJ, we will take care of your legacy, you from up there take care of us... bye

News of me...
First of all, I want to apologize to you all because I have run out of news this week and also because I sold my laptop to get a new one, and I'm still waiting for it. But don't worry, because flash news are comming and new reviews are getting back in this site.

25 years of Tetris
It's amazing when a simple game becomes a cult, a religion... It's amazing when you play it, and you can spend hours trying to get a better score every time... It's just amazing.
Like I said before on other articles: "It's a rare thing when simple games have more to offer than newer games". This games rates that phrase.
I've been playing tetris since I had my Nintendo Entertaiment System, and the catch of this game is to do many lines as you can. I also remember that you could do 4 lines in a single move, and many points added to your score on that single move. Just awesome!!!
Tetris stands for 4, and makes reference to the number of blocks that forms every piece.
The music, the shapes, the colours, the fun time, all putted together to make a game in which it's features run in harmony that gets you to have a good time.
This is the version that I played on my NES:
It all comes down to this russian... Alekséi Pázhitnov, who acording to the legend, programed the game in a day.
Known Theories
Some unknown scientist said that a person who plays for the first time tetris, that his brain activity will become more efficient but taking his energy and glucose levels to the top. When players become more pros, their energy consumption will be lower but the brain activity will be the same or even better.
It is also known that some people have developed the "Tetris Effect", and it consists in having thoughts of new combination with the pieces, dreams with the game or even to solve real life situations with the tetris principles. Some people experienced solving a tetris puzzle, creating their own escenario in their minds.
Well, that's all folks. Keep playing Tetris, but don't go nuts with it...

Duke Nukem, good bye my friend...
Yes, and it's not fake or a drill or some crap like it.
Remember this game when you had the chance to play with some sort of MACHO-MAN that liked his guns so much as naked women??... well, he's saying good bye to all of us, not because the game was not completely developed, but because 3DReamls closed it's realms.
Sad story so far, because we were waiting for their last masterpiece to come out. Duke Nukem Forever, that was promised to be one of the hottest game on the PC an consoles, did not had the release date, they just said "when it's done".
Here we have a piece of the game:
But not everything is bad news; 3DRealms pointed that the franchise still standing, just a game developer has to get the game code and keep developing the game, so it's not so bad, just get the developer to get the game done and there it is... yeeaaahhhh...
There you have the bad news, really bad news, I mean i've passed all the DN games, and when I heard the news, it just destroyed my heart, my soul... CRAP!!!...
Some pics of older games:
Duke Nukem (AKA. Duke Nukum)
Duke Nukem 2
I Liked the part when he says: "I'm BACK!!!"... AWESOME...

There was one time when I was a child...
Do you remember on a distant past not so far away, when you had plenty hours of killing zombies from mars?, or when you had a race with exotic cars?, but more importantly... do you remember when games were games?... yeah, sure you do.
That's why I'm going to show you some of my most important childhood games, but not getting deep on them, just to show why old games rulz and why games nowadays don't seem to work on our excitement.
Commander Keen
Let's start with something simple but cool. Meet Commander Keen, a young boy who tries to save the world from aliens. It's a platform game in which your only weapon is his gun, helpful by the way.
In my personal experience I played 3 chapters of this wonderful saga, and it defines a good platform game. But, until today I never knew why those aliens wanted to mess with that little boy, instead of going for the president or someone more important.
Pitfall
This is one of the oldest game I've ever played when I had my ATARI console. Another platform game that goes by the name of Pitfall. You're a man who is lost in the woods and you have to get away from it, by jumping in vines and stuff like that. Cool game, without a story, but cool game. You can also pinpoint the Activision logo. Is cool to know what those big companies started with.
You can se its comeback in 3D, nevertheless, you don't enjoy it the same way as the old one. It's like I say: "There's just something in that old, classy game... some kind of magic that gets you to sit and play for long hours".
Wolf 3D
This is Woflstein 3D (or Wolf 3D), and it is one of the first FPS games I played. This is the game that made people think: "Ok, I think this is future gaming... killing people and all that stuff seems to work on kids".
The story takes place on the Nazi empire, when an american soldier was kept on a german prison and he tries to escape from it by killing soldiers and Hitler himself.
And why Wolf 3D??... BECAUSE IS IN 3D!!!, which is kind of funny, I mean, imagine a game called "Need for speed 3D"... eeerrr uummm... yeeahhh...
Need For Speed: Porsche Unleashed
The most outstanding racing game for me was Need For Speed: Porsche Unleashed. The most playable game of the NFS saga for me.
The plot is that you're a unknown driver, that has been recently hired by Porsche (what are the chances that it could really happen to an unknown dude), and you have to make diferent missions with their cars, like deliver ones, and racing with others.
The reason why I liked this game is because it was the first to put a story on it. The other ones were good games, but they had no plot going on. It's great to be a test driver of Porsche, believe me. By the time that this game came out, I had a steering wheel for the PC and it was the Thrustmaster (you can see now that I'm an old school gamer).
The newer games of this saga are cool because the CGI makes this games more realistic, and their stories are cool like this one. But not all of the were great. Take for example PRO STREET; why ilegal racing comes legal in this game?, IT'S ILEGAL RACING, C'MON PEOPLE!!!...
Doom
I'm going to make a pause in this part to say a couple of words, 3 to be exact:
THIS GAME KICKS SOME SERIOUS BUTTS!!!!
I'm sorry, there are 6 words. I'm losing it because of this game...
This is the FPS that marked my life forever. I mean, there's "me" before Doom, and "me" after Doom. I still have this game in my laptop, can't run it but it's good to know that my laptop has a treasure.
The story takes place in mars where you find a bunch of satan's minions or zombies that you have to eliminate fast before the disease spreads to earth (that happens in Doom 2). It has a nice story and cool characters.
I remember good ol' times when my mom called me for dinner and I remember me saying: "Mom wait, let me just pass this stage, I have to kill more people!!!"
ID was the creator of this magical game, and you can see that the 3D world was very neat at that time, I mean the CGI of that game back then was a masterpiece. You can enjoy it's newer version, Doom 3 on the PC, but it doesn't have the excitement thing that the first ones have. On the newer version they got a better story (not changing it too much), but it look more like a survival horror game, like a Resident Evil but FPS. But anyway, it's good.
Mario Bros.
It all comes down to this title, Super Mario Bros, the game that we still play in our emulators and, for some of us, in our minds.
This game has everything; story, the killing, the powers, the cool worlds... everything. It also holds the guinness record for "The world's most selling game ever".
There's not much to say about this game, just to say it's a great game to play, and it's good to know that mario will never die, and that he has a special place in our hearts.

Console chatting
At this moment, we can clearly see that not too many consoles have made it. For example, the SEGA consoles were banished from this market and the same thing happened to ATARI consoles, they were kicked out.
I think there's only one phenomenon rounding out there that can't go nowhere else, and if you're a good gamer then you'll love it until your final days come:
AAAAHHHH YEEESSS... the only console ever that has a guinness record of the world's most selling game, Mario Bros. You can bring Microsoft's XBOX, Sony's PS3 and Nintendo's WII that you're not going to beat this console, I mean NES rocks, the games, the 8-bit graphics, everything... you can even have the games running on a PC emulator, and it's easy, so it's kind of hard to get away from it.
Well enough for the NES, we know it rocks, but lets concentrate on other focuses, like, why consoles nowadays concentrate more on the graphics than the game itself.
I know what you're going to say: "Well, new games have more interactivity, and a hole new background story...", well may I ask you people why a lot of us still play the NES Mario Saga???... or Contra (One of the best games ever made)???... or maybe worst, why do we still have those consoles running in these days???... for example, I rather play Ninja Gaiden on NES than the one for XBOX, fewer graphics but much fun to play.
Another thing that really bothers me is the errors on the hardware on many consoles, take de PS3 for example
and ask yourself how much did they take to release the final stable PS3 to the market, well if you wanna know, it was released last week on Latin America. That just proves that PS3 is a mountain of ka-ka-do-kie.
The XBOX 360 still has many hardware bugs today, for example the 3 red lights of death
Nevertheless, it's the best console for me today, beacause it's games are not to hollow and has a cool graphics power. If you wanna make me choose one of the 3 consoles that you can buy today I'd go for this one.
To end this topic, I gotta say that I'm a NES fan, not a Nintendo Fan, because I don't like WII or GAMECUBE... I just happen to love NES or SNES games because you can hav much fun playing these games rather than the newer ones. So that's it, I hope you like it... see ya.

Project Pacman suspended for a while....
I know some of you have been waiting for the pacman project which is one of the first projects we started early this year, well... here's some bad news.
This project has to be suspended for a while, however, you should know that the game is almost ready, we just have to make some adjustments on the logic and graphics. Also I've been a little bit busy at work so I come home tired and crap and the last thing I want to see is a PC.
But, don't worry, 'cause it ain't over yet, we're not gonna cut this project off, so you stay put with your eyer peeled because pacman project is going to be finished...

12 days for the U-DAY!!!...
The OS that we've been waiting is finally coming, Ubuntu 9.04 is on the way with big changes.
One of the BIG changes is the oh-my-god-this-is-so-cool notification bar...
I mean... did you see it???... yeahhhh, like it's better that XP's bar!!!...
Another thing that they've been correcting is the many services on the X-Server like Direct Rendering Infraestructure 2 (DRI2) that is an upgrade on the architecture level concerning the DRI, the GNOME 2.26 with it's so cool apps, and of course, my dear friend, Compiz, that happens to be the greatest animation engine ever made.
However, there's not going to be the UXA, which is the new video arhcitecture because it's unestable, but many people proved that was much faster, and with great performance.
The mascot for this project is a Jackalope, that's why it's called Jaunty Jackalope.
That's all for today, stay tuned for more info on this or other news, and stay with your eyes peeled for this release.

...yeah, we were talking about Seven...
Windows Seven is the next OS in the Microsoft Industry and it's pretended to be the big fix of Windows "mr. evil" Vista.
If we take a look back on Microft's Operating systems, we can see clearly that they've made a whole lot of cool and stable OS's. Take for example Windows 98 or XP, that are the most stable and optimized OS that microsoft has, and it also have some great things when you talk about their network and programming philosophy... until we get to the part to see ME or Vista... I mean, what were they thinking...
Those are the most pc-destructive systems ever made my mankind, the one made from 0 with mayor bugs on the way, and the other becouse takes your PC and literally destroys it, taking your ram and your CPU to the limit with useless processes and useless gadgets. I happen hate both of those two, I mean I even formated my Dell and go back to XP beacause you can WORK your stuff with it.
Then, those people from microsoft really saw what they did with that Vista, and decided to take out another milestone product called Viena (Seven nowadays).
For some reason, everybody seems to be confident about this OS that has a beta already out, with it's new look, optimized processes, top notch networking and a whole new diferent things. "It makes looks Vista as one of it's beta versions", many articles say that a lot.
I tested once in my house, on a virtual machine called VMWare. I tested the beta version 6xxx, and even it's a 32 bit OS it rocks, it also looks like KDE 4. The only thing I needed to see to say good stuff about it was the MSPaint, TOTALLY CHANGED!!!... it was one of the things that needed to be changed right away.
Another thing I saw was the taskbar, it's really cooler than the last one. When you right-click one of the apps below, a menu pops with the most relevant options of the app. And you can watch thumbnails of those applications in real time.
Well, that is all I can say about this. You can test it too, and I recommend you to do it if you're a curious guy. So long...

News about the upcoming Pacman
I have news on the title... check this shit out:
As you can see, I make emphasis on the "cool ass logo!!!..." because, you know, IT'S A COOL ASS LOGO that I made, but that's not the interesting part of this news.
The good news is that now the bad guys can walk each other, but the game it's not finished yet so... keep waiting. I was thinking of doing power-ups for the game, but it's to early to think about that, I mean, I better finish the game pretty quick and then I'll think about shitty power ups...
